Christ is Risen! A Beautiful Beginning at the Church of the Holy Apostles – Eldoret Deanery
By His Grace Bishop Neofitos of Eldoret in Northern Kenya

Today marked a truly beautiful and spirit-filled day at our mission Church of the Holy Apostles in Eldoret Deanery. It was my great joy and honor to celebrate the Divine Liturgy for the first time in this mission church—a moment that serves as a profound affirmation that the Orthodox faith is now rooted and blossoming in the heart of Eldoret town.

The Liturgy was more than just a service; it was a sign of God’s grace and a milestone of our growing mission in the region. Surrounded by faithful brothers and sisters, I felt the warmth, devotion, and unity of the Orthodox community here. The prayers, the hymns, the incense rising toward heaven—all testified to the presence of Christ among His people.

This mission is not merely a place of worship, but a spiritual home for all Orthodox Christians living, working, studying, or even visiting Eldoret. To you, beloved brothers and sisters in Eldoret—come and see. Join us in prayer. Be part of this beautiful chapter in the life of our Church. Let us walk together in faith, love, and service as one family in Christ.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to the faithful of Eldoret Deanery and to the Church of the Holy Apostles for the warm and gracious welcome. Your love and dedication to the mission inspire hope and confidence in the future of Orthodoxy in this city.

As we continue this journey, let every effort, every prayer, and every step we take be for the glory of God. May His name be glorified in all things.

Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!
